On 22 May 2025, Angel Business Communications proudly hosted the 15th annual DCS Awards at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s. The evening brought together over 300 senior professionals from across the data centre industry for a night of recognition, networking, and celebration, honouring those who continue to drive innovation and excellence in the sector.
This year’s awards reflected a particularly buoyant period for the data centre industry, as it undergoes rapid transformation driven by surging demand for AI, cloud computing, and digital services across all sectors. With 38 categories, the DCS Awards recognised outstanding achievements in sustainability, facilities innovation, ICT advancements, and customer service. The growing importance of energy efficiency, intelligent automation, and edge computing was also evident, highlighting how data centres have become the backbone of the modern economy. In such a dynamic and fast-evolving sector, it is more important than ever to celebrate the individuals and organisations shaping its future.
Among the winners were Vantage Data Centers, who claimed New Build Project of the Year, and RiT Tech, who received two awards for their XpedITe platform. Green Mountain was named Best Overall Data Centre of the Year, while individual honours included Andy Hirst of Sudlows for Industry Contribution and Dena Rahman of Pure Data Centres as Emerging Talent of the Year.
As part of our commitment to supporting local communities, we were delighted to once again raise funds for our chosen charity, GNP Sports Community Football Club, based in Coventry. Through generous contributions and our charity raffle, the DCS Awards 2025 raised over £1,100 to help support the club’s vital work with over 250 young players across 21 youth teams.
